Overview:
The Shift & Scheduling page allows administrators to define and manage the weekly work schedules used across the organisation. Each shift specifies the In Time and Out Time for every day of the week, and can be assigned to individual employees through their Contract tab. Shifts can be tied to specific countries to support multi-regional organisations.

Summary:
The Shift & Scheduling sub-module provides the foundation for managing employee work hours across the organisation. By defining clear shift patterns tied to countries and days of the week, HR administrators can ensure consistent, accurate time and attendance tracking for all employees.
- Purpose: Define weekly work schedules (In Time / Out Time) for each day, tied to specific countries.
- Key Actions: Create, view, and edit shifts; use "Apply Monday To Weekdays" to speed up data entry.
- Off Days: Days without configured hours are automatically treated as OFF DAYS for assigned employees.
- Assignment: Shifts are assigned to employees individually via their Contract tab — configuring shifts here does not auto-assign them.
- Multi-region: Shifts can be country-scoped, supporting organisations operating across multiple regions and time zones.
💡 Tip: Set up all shifts before onboarding employees or configuring contracts. Use a consistent naming convention (e.g. Region + Hours) so shifts are easy to identify in employee contract forms.
